History of Frank F. Apgar & Sons

Lawrence F. Apgar started this business, trucking out of quarries in 1964 and his father, who was a machine operator, working for a construction company in Morristown, NJ, left his job and in 1965 the company was formed. Out of respect for his father, the business was named “Frank F. Apgar & Sons.” In the years to follow our jobs included new additions, drainage, septic installation, septic repairs, driveway work and blacktopping. After Frank retired, Jeffrey Apgar (grandson) work with his father and the company remained a father and son business. Larry, Jeff’s father passed away in 2009 and Jeff is continuing the business today.
